Capabilities
HONIRON®
manufacturing
facilities are extensive, currently over 79,000 square feet (over 7,400 square
meter), located just off I49 and US Hwy 90, only few minutes from the Port of
Iberia.
Equipped
with the latest CNC controlled machinery, lathes, drilling, plasma cutting and
welding as well as shears, presses and the necessary tools for the most
efficient and economical manufacturing methods of pressure vessels and other
large structures. HONIRON permanently seeks out the most modern and up-to-date
equipment to aid in the most cost efficient production and quality insurance for
its customers.
HONIRON®
is a certified fabricator (ASME section VII, Div. I, and National Board), with a
“U” stamp.
HONIRON®
over the years has fabricated vessels from numerous materials and thickness.
(Carbon steel, stainless steels - 300 series-, stainless steel clad, monel,
copper, aluminum, hastelloy, nickel clad, and various other alloys)
Welding
is performed with SMAW, FCAW, MIG and TIG welding techniques.
HONIRON®
has the ability to
produce one-piece vessel up to 22 feet in diameter. Larger vessels can be
fabricated in sections. Vessel wall thickness can be rolled up to 11/4”
thickness. CNC plasma cutting burn shapes up to 2” thick and bevel up to 1”
thick.
With
our large array of manufacturing equipment we can meet or exceed our clients
needs.
Quality Control Procedure
HONIRON®’s quality assurance program and
procedures adheres to ASME Section VIII Division I. The Q.A. Manager and Inspection Department review all jobs and procedures throughout the
manufacturing process and report directly to the General Manager.
